Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, MS is seeking an Aircraft Mechanical Technician A on the H125 Final Assembly Line. You will perform mechanical work on aircraft or parts as part of the team responsible for quality, safety and efficiency on the line.

The role requires at least four years of aviation experience, ability to read blueprints, and physical stamina to handle heavy components. On-site work with exposure to chemicals is expected; Airbus offers comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years related aviation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams and technical instructions.
• Must be able to move about in cramped and awkward positions to perform tasks.
• Must be able read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to handle heavy components and work in areas where exposure to chemicals and fumes will occur.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
• Conduct functional check of systems for proper function.
• Perform work from three dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other documentation.
