Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA seeks a Mechanical Systems Engineer in Service Engineering – CS SVS Tech Spec I focusing on Landing Gears. You will contribute to planning, design, analysis and liaison engineering to develop and produce Gulfstream products and services, with emphasis on landing gear systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years in a technical discipline or 10 years across several engineering areas; experience with Gulfstream platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5 years in a specific technical discipline or 10 years in multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Gulfstream aircraft (G650/G500/G600/G700/G800) is a plus.
• FAA regulations familiarity and MRO knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and support design, analysis and liaison engineering for Gulfstream products.
• Provide specialized technical assistance to project teams.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve complex problems.
• Develop approaches to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for success.
• Participate in continuous process improvement and quality initiatives.
