Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. in Milton, VT seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. You will set up and operate hand tools to perform blending and grinding on turbine engine components, ensuring airworthiness per engine manuals.

The role requires 2+ years with hand tools and basic inspection tools, lifting up to 25 lbs and standing about half the shift. We provide on-the-job training, a clean, safe workplace, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with hand tools and basic machine tools.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with basic inspection tools.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and stand for ~50% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sheet metal forming and blending on turbine engine components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Ensure maintenance operations follow the correct sequence and RSQM labeling.
• Complete all paperwork and maintenance/alteration processes per standard work.
• Track work orders and communicate status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support team with performance and documentation of maintenance or alterations.
