Job summary

Remas Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Aviation Mechanic to join our client on a full-time basis. As an Aviation Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, document work, and comply with aviation regulations. The ideal candidate holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, has at least two years of experience, and can read

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aviation Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, electrical systems, and avionics
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on aircraft
  • Repair or replace faulty components and systems
