Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a Materials Manager to coordinate the flow of aircraft components and services, ensuring on-time delivery while minimizing inventory and logistics costs. You will oversee AOG support, stock, and procurement activities, applying analytical and negotiation skills to secure favorable terms.

The role involves managing supplier performance, working with maintenance and operations teams, and ensuring ERP data integrity to support financial and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
• 3+ years Aerospace/Aeronautics with Part 145 or Part 135 experience.
• Proven leadership and management background.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement purchasing/procurement policies and processes aligned with growth objectives and delivery timelines.
• Proactively address material shortages, delays or quality issues.
• Manage supplier relationships including vendor screening, selection, negotiations, and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate purchasing contracts; resolve order discrepancies, grievances, and invoice issues; oversee end-to-end purchasing.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Customer Service, Sales, Safety and other departments on supply chain matters.
• Evaluate spend activities to identify opportunities for cost reductions and supplier performance improvements.
• Maintain procurement data in the ERP system and ensure timely invoice payments.
