Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Material Logistics Specialist in South Carolina. You will manage transportation of airplane parts, materials, and tooling inside the Tech Operations division, including handling hazardous materials and operating stores equipment.

You will lift, move, count, and stage stock, communicate across teams, and comply with FAA and company guidelines. Starting pay is $17.05/hr with a broader range of $20–$30/hr depending on duties and hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of college or trade school recommended.
• 12+ months of general warehouse stock handling experience incl. receiving, shipping, binning.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; valid driver’s license.
• Must pass all required tests including hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage parts and materials to assigned areas; operate forklift and store equipment.
• Transport and deliver parts and materials to designated zones; prepare shipments for delivery.
• Keep stock organized and clean; assist with counting, picking, tracking, and replenishment.
