Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Materials Specialist to maintain warehouse inventory, oversee stores, and manage shipping, receiving, and material handling in support of aircraft maintenance. The role collaborates with MOC and Maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of parts and compliance with GMM and IATA hazmat rules.

Starting at $18.50 per hour with a $2 night shift differential. Eligible bonuses include a $5,000 sign-on/commitment package and staged bonuses after 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license and passing TSA/SIDA requirements.
• Ability to pass DG IATA course and maintain recurrent training.
• Fluent in English and able to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Material Stores and Line Material operations.
• Resolve inventory accuracy issues and manage issuing, shipping, receiving, and stocking.
• Handle warehouse operations for technical and non-technical inventory.
• Enter data into the inventory system for locating, issuing, receiving, shipping, and warehousing.
• Coordinate with MOC for inventory movement and AOG recovery.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate adjustments with Maintenance and Purchasing.
• Perform inspections, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GMM.
• Assist with calibrated tooling, shelf-life audits, and replacements for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct periodic receiving inspections as directed by Quality Control.
• Prepare hazmat shipments per IATA regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering to prepare fleet modification kits.
• Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
