Southwest Airlines Co. is hiring a Material Specialist to support Technical Operations in the hangar and warehouse.

The role focuses on receiving, issuing, storing and delivering airplane parts, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with maintenance teams to keep aircraft ready for service. The job requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to work rotating shifts including early mornings and overtime, and a readiness to comply with safety and security rules.

Competenze

• Read documents, follow procedures and regulations incl. security rules.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment with aircraft noise.
• Be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Complete training and evaluation period.
• Communicate verbally and in writing effectively.

Mansioni

• Provides friendly service to internal and external Customers.
• Handles receiving, shipping, inventory and records for supplies.
• Delivers parts to maintenance and drives equipment as needed.
• Assembles stocking bins, shelves and uses power tools as required.
• Delivers parts and materials to departments as assigned.
• Meets physical requirement lists and works with a team.
