Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE is seeking an Aviation Planner to assist airport sponsors and project teams with capacity, land use, and development decisions. The role combines technical analysis with clear communication across master plans, system plans, and airport layout plans.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in aviation or transportation planning, strong GIS skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders across public agencies and airlines. Travel for site visits and client meetings is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation planning, urban/regional planning, civil engineering, geography, or related field.
  • Strong quantitative analysis, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with FAA planning guidance and airport design standards is required.
  • AICP certification or progress toward certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support airport master plans, system plans, and airport layout plans.
  • Analyze aviation activity, capacity, delays, land use, and ground access.
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, graphics, and public-facing materials.
  • Coordinate with airport staff, agencies, airlines, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Use GIS, spreadsheets, databases, and planning tools to organize information.
  • Support public meetings and presentations to boards or agencies.
  • Manage tasks, schedules, budgets, and quality reviews across projects.
