Job summary

Talbert, Bright & Ellington, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking motivated Graphic Design Interns to join our Marketing & Branding team.

This internship offers hands-on experience creating visual content for proposals, marketing campaigns, events, and digital platforms, with exposure to branding in aviation-focused civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with marketing, business development, and leadership to translate briefs into professional materials, build a portfolio, and learn

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills (academic, personal, or professional work)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat (Mac & PC)
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout
• Experience preparing files for print and digital formats
• Ability to adapt designs for multiple mediums and platforms

Responsibilities

• Proposal Support: design and format RFQ/RFP and SOQ materials with professional layouts
• Marketing Collateral: create visual assets for career fairs and events
• Social Media Management: support content creation and posting on LinkedIn
• Brand Development: apply brand guidelines for consistency across materials
• Design & Layout: use typography, color, imagery, layout to produce graphics
• File Preparation: prepare files for print or digital distribution
• Collaboration: work with marketing, business development, leadership to develop visuals
