Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Maintenance Tech to build, install, move and repair machine tool equipment and facilities. You will examine equipment, diagnose issues, dismantle and reassemble parts, and maintain related paperwork.

You may lead others as needed and perform related duties to maintain quality and efficiency. The role requires 2 years of industrial facilities maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years' experience in industrial facilities maintenance
• Basic computer skills (e.g. email, Excel)
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings/schematics
• Knowledge of CNC machine tools and related shop equipment
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and repair machine tool equipment per instructions
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace parts, align and reassemble
• Maintain preventive maintenance program on equipment/facilities
• Possess ability to direct or instruct others as required
