Absolute Aviation is seeking a Mechanical Technician I to perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components at our Cheney, Washington location. The role supports a FAA-certified Repair Station and requires ensuring orders meet Repair Group standards while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related college courses, certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language skills: read/interpret safety rules, write routine reports, speak before groups.
• Mathematical skills: compute rate, ratio and percent; work with decimals.
• Reasoning ability: follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations.
• Physical demands: frequent talking/listening; sitting; occasional standing, lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components.
• Ensure work complies with the Repair Group's standards and procedures.
• Record work performed in maintenance records and ensure data is current.
• Research applicable technical data and manuals to ensure task accuracy.
• Possess the ability to work independently on multiple units.
