Job summary

Soundair Aviation Services in Washington state is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components. You will work to ensure customer orders are completed within the Repair Group's standards and procedures.

The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to research and verify that technical data and manuals are current. The department offers competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related college courses or an associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' related experience or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and maintain maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Qualified on several units and can work independently.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
• Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
• Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.
• Other duties that may be assigned.
