Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the Teterboro, NJ hub. The role covers mechanical tasks, troubleshooting, and inspections on civilian aircraft, with opportunity to work across the Service Hub network in a fast-paced hangar environment.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes safety, FAA compliance, and continuous learning, with benefits starting on day one and a schedule that includes rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and an Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong safety awareness and FAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to aircraft systems.
• Operate ground support equipment and inspect aircraft.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling.
