Job summary

West Star Aviation is hiring a Flex Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support Teterboro (TEB) or White Plains (HPN) hubs. You will perform mechanical work, panels removal/installation, troubleshooting, defueling, engine work, and ground support tasks in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and an A&P license, with willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits start on day one and include health, dental, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and components.
• Defuel aircraft and assist engine removal/installation.
• Move aircraft and assist in performance runs/taxing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Escalate issues to Lead Mechanic with detailed progress reports.
