Our team is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical) Level I-II to join them. You will report to the Director of Operations and will have an onsite work schedule in Miramar, FL.

To be considered for the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical) Level I-II role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Ability to obtain a FAA repairman certification.

  • Previous experience as an electromechanical technician, performing testing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical components and accessories in an industrial environment.

  • Proficient in the use of mechanical and electronic precision measuring equipment such as calipers, height gages, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, pressure gages, flow meters, etc.

  • Previous experience as an electromechanical technician in a FAA part 145 repair station is preferred.

  • FAA A&P License is preferred.

As an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical) Level I-II, you will:

  • Be responsible for maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical aircraft accessories, appliances and LRU equipment in a shop environment.

  • Perform and complete assignments as required.

  • Perform all work in accordance with approved technical data, work instructions, internal and external requirements.

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics & KPIs.

  • Train, coach and mentor peers.

  • Promote continuous improvement.

  • Comply with RSQM/QMS and AS9110 requirements.

  • Maintain open communication.

This is a safety sensitive position subject to DOT pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

Salary Range:

  • $20 - $30/hour, based on experience
