Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician in aerospace.
  • IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Certification (or ability to become certified).
  • Proficient in reading electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Avionics) to join our team. You will report to the Director of Operations and work onsite in Miramar, FL.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED; associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a FAA Repairman certificate.
  • 1+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician in an aerospace environment (preferred), performing troubleshooting and repair with component replacement and soldering.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex electronic and electromechanical systems and components.
  • Proficient in using electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscope, DMM, Frequency generator, photometer, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Certification (or ability to become certified).
  • Proficient in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, CMM, and other technical data.
  • Understanding of basic electrical theory.
  • Ability to use basic precision measuring equipment.
  • Proficient in PC applications and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of 14 CFR part 145 regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and assemble avionics products, LRUs, and sub-components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair CCA/PCB to component level.
  • Complete reports, records, and documentation.
  • Train and mentor technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, external, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Provide technical support across the business.
  • Support license transitions.
  • Manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
  • Practice safety habits consistently.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$20 - $30/hour, based on experience
