Our team is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Avionics) to join them. You will report to the Director of Operations and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL. To be considered for the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Avionics) opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED, associate’s degree in related field preferred. The ability to obtain a FAA Repairman certificate. 1+ years of experience as an electronics repair technician in an aerospace environment (preferred) performing troubleshooting and repair with component replacement and soldering. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex electronic and electromechanical systems and components. Proficient in the set up and operation of electronic test equipment – Oscilloscope, DMM, Frequency generator, photometer, spectrum analyzer etc. IPC-J-STD-001 Solder Certification (or ability to become certified). Proficient in reading, interpreting and understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, component maintenance manuals (CMM) and other technical data as needed. Understanding of basic electrical theory. Ability to use basic precision measuring equipment. Ability to use PC applications and ERP systems. Knowledge and understanding of 14 CFR part 145 regulations. As an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Avionics), you will: Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and assemble various avionics products, LRU and sub-components. Be involved with the troubleshooting and repair of CCA/PCB to component level. Complete reports, record keeping and supporting documentation as required. Train and mentor technicians. Comply with internal, external, regulatory and customer requirements. Continuously improve production efficiency and quality to achieve or exceed key metrics. Provide technical support for all aspects of the business as needed. Support license transitions. Manage multiple activities and overall workload while consistently meeting commit dates. Maintain and ensure a clean, safe and compliant work environment. Always practice safety conscious habits. Assist with other related duties as assigned.
