Job summary

FedEx Express in Allentown, PA seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform safe and efficient maintenance, repairs, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting at multiple MX locations. You will follow manuals, communicate exceptions, and complete write-ups promptly.

When no manager is onsite, you will accept the daily work release plan and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum education includes a High School Diploma/GED and an active A&P license with a valid non-restricted driver’s

Qualifications

• Must determine aircraft system failures and troubleshoot/repair.
• Able to use test equipment and interpret all A/C manuals.
• Able to attain engine run and taxi certifications as directed.
• Able to attain aircraft tow operator certification as directed.
• Able to complete all aircraft parts replacement procedures.
• Maintain and service aircraft systems in line and hangar environments.
• Sufficient computer skills for AML procedures and training modules.
• Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe, compliant maintenance and repairs to minimize delays.
• Execute planned and unplanned tasks per manuals and schedules.
• Communicate exceptions promptly and document write-ups accurately.
• When no manager is onsite, follow the daily work release plan.
