Job summary

Daifuku Services America Corporation seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges at the Atlanta facility. You will mentor junior staff, read repair manuals and schematics, and adhere to safety standards while working in confined spaces, shifts may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum 2 years of previous mechanical or electrical experience
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Completes basic maintenance assignments involving preventive, routine and emergency maintenance.
Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel; ensures equipment runs safely.
Takes direction and seeks guidance from senior personnel; may train and mentor others.
Provides direction and mentoring to personnel; may act as lead in absence of Sr. Technicians/Supervisors.
Reads and interprets repair manuals, schematics and supervisor/manager instructions.
Works in tight spaces utilizing PPE and fall protection; adheres to safety policies.
