On-the-job training is provided for qualified applicants with an interest in aviation maintenance, and a full-time role offers growth within a growing MRO team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Proficient in basic math including fractions and decimals.
  • Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft safety equipment using OEM data and FAA/EASA regulations.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conduct validation and verification testing of parts and assemblies.
  • Use specialized tools (torque wrenches, multimeters, mills, lathes) to diagnose and correct issues in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain detailed records and complete electronic data entries for all maintenance activities.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards.

Position Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Aviation Safety Equipment Component Maintenance Technicians to join our growing MRO team. In this hands‑on role, you will inspect, test, service, and repair a variety of aircraft components including aircraft engine/APU/cargo fire bottles, oxygen bottle assemblies, evacuation slides, and rafts. On the Job Training will be provided for qualified applicants demonstrating an interest in entering the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections, tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft safety equipment using OEM technical data, FAA/EASA regulations and company policy and procedures.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components and systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conduct validation and verification testing of parts and assemblies.
  • Use specialized tools (e.g., torque wrenches, multimeters, mills, lathes) to diagnose and correct issues in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain detailed records and complete electronic data entries for all maintenance activities.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Proficient in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division (including fractions and decimals).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, maintenance manuals, and schematics.
  • Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and pulling.
  • Good eyesight, including color vision, and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.Works well in team‑based environments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verification.
  • US Citizen or resident status.
