Job summary

SafeTech USA, a division of SK AeroSafety Group, is seeking an Aviation Safety Equipment Component Maintenance Technician in Humble, TX. You will inspect, test, service, and repair a range of components such as fire bottles, oxygen assemblies, and evacuation systems, with on‑the‑job training for motivated entrants.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.
• Must lift 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license; US citizen or resident.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft safety equipment per OEM data and FAA/EASA regulations.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components with precision.
• Conduct validation and verification testing of parts and assemblies.
• Use torque wrenches, multimeters, mills, and lathes to diagnose issues.
• Maintain detailed records and electronic maintenance entries.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
