Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician to launch and recover aircraft and perform required maintenance on airframes, engines, gear, and systems.

You will work rotating shifts in a 24-hour operation and may travel for extended periods. You will follow the Flight Operations Manual, coordinate with the Maintenance Lead, and oversee vendor maintenance at base or on location.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and work varying shifts.
  • Familiarity with FAA inspection and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Launch and recover fleet of aircraft and perform required maintenance.
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot systems of the aircraft including airframes, engine, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems components.
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays; travel for extended periods with short notice for training events.
  • Properly complete work order signoffs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner; store aircraft components and support equipment securely.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and Flight Operations Manual (FOM); coordinate with the Aviation Maintenance Lead or Director of Maintenance to ensure FAA compliance.
  • Act as a Micron representative and oversee maintenance activities by vendors either at home base or in their facilities.
  • Effectively use approved AI tools and digital technologies to improve productivity, data analysis, reporting accuracy, and operational decision-making while ensuring compliance with company data security and confidentiality requirements.
