CAL FIRE is seeking an Aviation Officer III (Maintenance) to plan, organize and direct the aviation maintenance and aircraft modifications for the department. The role includes overseeing maintenance programs, budgeting, and providing expert guidance on policies and guidelines related to state-owned and contracted aircraft.

The incumbent may participate in aviation accident investigations, provide leadership to Aviation Officers II (Maintenance), and support statewide aviation safety training
