Job summary

Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, Myrtle Beach campus, is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Instructor to inspire the next generation of aircraft mechanics with daytime hours and no weekend commitments.

Teaching experience is welcome but not required, as training will be provided; the role emphasizes classroom instruction, hands-on lab guidance, and maintaining equipment while supporting student performance.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
• 3+ years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience
• Teaching experience is ideal but not required as training is provided
• Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom presentations and guide students in the laboratory.
• Manage lab equipment and inventory.
• Evaluate student performance during coursework and practicals.

PIA's Myrtle Beach campus is hiring for a fulfilling Aviation Maintenance Instructor position that allows you to give back while enjoying great daytime hours and no weekend commitments! Teaching experience is a plus, but not required, as we will provide instructional training.

Schedule: Regular hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications And Skills

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification

• We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required.
• Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities and Duties
