Job summary

Jet OUT is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Florida to join a growing MX control team. You will serve as the central point for front line crewmembers, manage maintenance events, and ensure compliance with FAA standards.

Responsibilities include real-time support, log and track squawks, coordinate repairs, and provide regular updates to the DOM. A valid FAA A&P license and 5+ years of line maintenance are required. In-person work location: Opa Locka, FL.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Minimum 5 years of line maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and obtain a SIDA badge.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Central point of contact for front line crewmembers and all maintenance related matters.
• Ensures adherence to regulations and Jet OUT’s quality standards.
• Provide real time support and release authority squawks/deferrals on our fleet.
• Log and track squawks and AOG information into Jet OUT’s squawk log.
• Coordinate repairs through outside or in-house MX following FAA regulations and Jet OUT’s GOM.
• Track scheduled MX and coordinate with DOM and/or service centers.
• Vet outside service providers and maintain records.
