Our client, a leading international aviation law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Aviation Litigation Practice Group. Location can be California (San Francisco) or fully remote within CA, with hybrid/remote options. Ideal candidates have 3 years of substantive litigation experience, active CA Bar, and strong drafting and research skills.

The role offers flexible work arrangements, frequent client communication, and exposure to high-stakes litigation in a global platform.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar in good standing.
• 3 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and briefs.
• Strong legal research skills using Westlaw, Lexis, or Nexis.
• Experience preparing correspondence, opinion letters, and client reports.
• Ability to manage document review and discovery processes.
• Courtroom exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed analyses.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Interview clients, eyewitnesses, and other relevant parties.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting to clients regarding case status and strategy.
• Engage in direct communication with clients and insurers.
• Assist in all phases of case development, litigation strategy, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with partners and team to advance case objectives efficiently.
