Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Kitchen Sanitation Agent to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the flight kitchen, ensuring dishes, utensils, and catering equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use in a fast-paced operation. The role emphasizes food safety, regulatory compliance, and overall operational readiness.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50+ pounds, and pass background checks, with flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and refrigerated areas.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, including TSA and Customs requirements.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dishes, utensils, and catering equipment in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Sort and organize equipment and materials based on operational and production requirements
• Ensure all equipment is properly handled, stored, and available for use
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety guidelines
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
• Adapt to changing priorities and operational needs throughout the shift
• Support overall kitchen operations to ensure readiness of catering equipment and materials
• Perform any additional duties as assigned
