Qualifications

• Competence in most phases of system analysis.
• Knowledge of work processes, applicable regulations, and practices of the assigned subject area.
• Familiarity with related programming practices, system software, and computer equipment.
• Ability to recognize interactions of related computer systems and predict impact of changes.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
• Certification 1 of the 3 listed below: A Plus CE, Net Plus CE, or SEC plus CE.

Responsibilities

• Carries out fact finding and analyses as assigned for a routine problem.
• Assist a higher level analyst by preparing detailed specifications for programmers.
• Research routine user problems and modify the existing system when solutions follow precedents.
• Prepare cost and deadline estimates for review.
• Work independently to adapt guides to specific situations and resolve deviations.
