VSE Aviation, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform and document maintenance on civil aviation articles in accordance with FAA data and directives.

The role requires hands-on teardown, inspection, and servicing of seats, lavatories, cargo components, and related accessories. Ideal candidates will have an Airframe and Powerplant certification with 3+ years of hands-on experience or an additional 2 years in lieu of degree, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and

Qualifikationen

• Airframe and Powerplant Certification or equivalent (mandatory).
• 3+ years of relevant/technical work experience or 2 additional years in lieu of degree.
• Ability to teardown, inspection, parts requisition, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of SEATS/LAV COMPONENTS/CARGO COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data and FAA guidelines.
• Ensure familiarity with tools and equipment used within their area of responsibility.
• Record work performed on the maintenance records.
• Use inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being serviced.
• Record information and comply with inspection procedures and quality policies.
• Comply with safety directives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain all shop calibrated tools in good condition.
• Other duties as assigned.
