Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Support Technician for the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL. You will work on advanced private aircraft interiors, performing installation and maintenance of carpeting, insulation, and fabric components.

The role requires basic electrical work, problem solving, and adherence to FAA guidelines. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a valid driver’s license is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license ideal for airline travel; passport helpful.
• 0–6+ years in aviation, auto, RV, marine, or related field depending on Tech level.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical items on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Remove and install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; assist in modifications and refurbishments.
• Run weight and balance data and complete work order processes.
• Communicate clearly in English and work with supervision as needed.
