Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies at the Pittsburgh Deicing Facility is seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This full-time position requires hands-on work in a manufacturing environment with lifting, outdoor conditions, and travel up to a small extent, and offers an hourly range of $30–$37.

Qualifications

• At least a level 3 apprentice
• Red Seal in Industrial Electrical would be considered an asset
• Valid Passport and eligibility to travel; Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies, standards, and procedures to achieve a safe and healthy work environment.
• Support Inland’s environmental commitments by helping to limit our organization’s impact on the ecosystem.
• Promote and adhere to our safety and respectful workplace culture and instilling this culture while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with all employee-focused regulations and state and federal rules and regulations.
• Abide by all Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Setting up new electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, components, transformers and control systems.
• Regularly checking, maintaining, and repairing existing electrical systems and equipment, including motors and control panels.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, such as short circuits, low voltage, and equipment repairs.
• Performing various commissioning activities to ensure proper functioning of safety and electrical system and components.
