The Tucson Airport Authority is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems at TUS and RYN. Under minimal supervision, you will troubleshoot electrical circuits, rebuild motors, and implement EMCS recommendations to optimize energy use.

You will read blueprints, maintain refrigerant logs, assist EMCS staff, and respond to airport emergencies as needed. A high school diploma and EPA Universal Certification are required, along with relevant HVAC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in repair of air conditioning and refrigeration units operated by EMCS; OR two years' experience as HVAC technician with EMCS, plus recognized HVAC training.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and equipment; adjust systems per EMCS recommendations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and maintenance data.
• Maintain refrigerant logs and report repairs to supervisor.
• Respond to airport emergencies and coordinate with security and operations as needed.
