Job summary

Professional Aviation Associates Inc. is seeking a Hose Shop Technician to measure, cut, assemble, and test hose assemblies according to customer specifications and company procedures.

This role uses powered saws, hydraulic crimping presses, calipers, and measurement devices to ensure accurate assemblies for inventory and orders. The position requires reading engineering drawings, attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a field with measurements and powered equipment.
• Preferred: 1–2 years in assembly of industrial or aircraft hoses.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and assembling hoses and inspecting or testing completed assemblies.
• Use of hand and power tools and testing fixtures.
• Interpret engineering drawings and read measurement tape accurately.
• Pull customer orders from stock according to purchase orders.
• Maintain stock organization and ensure safe work environment.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high‑quality hose assemblies.
