Job summary

Vantage Aviation is seeking a GSE Technician to oversee maintenance and compliance of ground support equipment across two locations. The role combines hands-on maintenance with operational oversight to ensure safe, reliable GSE operations and adherence to FAA, OSHA, NFPA, and EPA standards.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in GSE maintenance, strong safety culture, and the ability to coordinate inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of GSE and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Preferred: NATA certification and knowledge of aviation fuel handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of GSE and vehicles.
• Oversee routine and preventive inspections of fuel farms and fueling equipment.
• Monitor fuel systems and GSE to ensure safe, compliant operations and prevent spills or outages.
• Identify discrepancies, incidents, and compliance issues; implement corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison for internal/external audits, inspections, and regulatory matters.
• Maintain accurate records for fuel movement, GSE maintenance, and QA/QC compliance.
• Support training programs and safety performance metrics.
