Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a Ground Service Equipment Technician at Nashville International Airport. You will support the GSE Division by maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of airport ground support equipment in a safety‑critical environment.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical experience, are willing to learn, and can provide their own hand tools with a valid U.S. driver's license. A flexible schedule and on‑call readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar.
• Willingness to learn and train in a GSE environment.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 4–8 years of mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain ground support equipment (tugs, belt loaders, GPUs, APU, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore safe operation.
• Build and assemble mechanical components as required.
• Clean, lubricate, and service machinery and fluid systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs and comply with safety standards.
• Provide guidance to equipment operators on proper use and care.
• Complete required training and report hazards promptly.
