Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a mechanic to perform troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, testing, and installation of ground support equipment across the airport operations. The role includes signing mechanical releases and coordinating with lead staff while adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.

The position requires an HS Diploma or GED, diesel experience, ability to read diagrams, and potentially a CDL depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and work from diagrams as required.
• Diesel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Bend, stoop, and crawl to work in tight spaces including fuel cells and aircraft belly areas.
• Push, pull, lift, and carry parts weighing up to 60 pounds during assembly/repair.
• Drive vehicles up to 10 tons (up to 40 tons in select assignments) in congested areas.
• Use color‑coded wiring and components and differentiate colors as required.
• Operates tools and reads maintenance manuals; completes forms accurately.
• Reports to work regularly and on time.
