Job summary

Wisconsin Aviation in Madison, WI seeks an experienced Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to join our Dane County Regional Airport team. You’ll service a diverse fleet of airport equipment, including tugs, fuel trucks, deicing gear, ground power units and service vehicles, both in the shop and outdoors.

We value hands-on problem solvers with a strong mechanical background who can troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background.
• Enjoy troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Aviation experience not required; transferable skills from automotive/heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service a diverse fleet of airport equipment including tugs, fuel trucks, deicing gear, and ground power units.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Work in the shop and outdoors around an active airport environment.
