Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Houston, TX is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee ramp supervisors, GSE and aircraft maintenance personnel while upholding safety, operational standards and financial performance.

You will plan resources, liaison with customers and agencies, produce routine reports, drive continuous improvements in safety and security, and manage shift operations in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Prior ramp experience is required.
• Prior management/supervisory experience in aviation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health & safety, operational and financial performance.
• Plan resource allocation in each business unit.
• Liaise with customer representatives regularly.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and agencies.
• Produce routine reports and insights.
• Support development of business units with timely project work.
• Lead the station equipment planning cycle.
• Ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Suggest improvements to working practices for safety and security.
• Work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
