Job summary

Amazon Leo in Washington state is seeking a skilled technician to assemble and test avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, fiber-optics, and PCBAs with meticulous attention to detail. The role requires willingness to work day or swing shifts, overtime, and occasional travel between site locations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency.
• 3+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification.
• 1+ years of hand tools experience (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches).
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
• Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
