Job summary

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) in Chicago, IL, seeks a Government and Program Development Manager to underwrite government tenders and shape new and existing HCM programs.

You will support Sales, deliver data-driven pricing analyses, build cost models, and maintain pricing databases while creating SOP manuals.

Base pay ranges from $135,000 to $145,000 with bonus opportunities; full benefits commence on day one, reflecting JSSI’s competitive compensation philosophy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field.
• Minimum 5 years aviation technical experience.
• Knowledge of aviation industry and government pricing.
• Experience with maintenance planning and forecasting.
• Familiarity with aircraft inspection requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to read and write technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and underwrite government pricing for tenders.
• New program development and maintaining current HCM programs.
• Assist in developing annual escalation increases for airframes, engines, and APUs.
• Assist with cost analysis studies and research projects.
• Collect cost data from internal/external sources and vendors.
• Create cost models for cost estimating elements.
• Prepare cost reports and present findings to management.
• Utilize cost data to construct profitable pricing models.
• Maintain Master Price Lists and the database used for rate calculations.
• Write SOP manuals as required.
