Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking an Aviation Technician I for our Miramar, FL facility. This full-time role requires inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft components, with emphasis on fuel/pneumatic systems, regulations, and safety.

The position requires a technical degree or A&P certification, 4+ years of relevant experience (or 3 additional years in lieu of degree), and the ability to read schematics. Proficiency in MS Office and a detail-oriented, safety-conscious mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or A&P certification or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant/technical work experience or 3 additional years in lieu of degree.
• Ability to teardown, inspect, parts requisition, assembly, testing and overhaul of aircraft fuel/pneumatic components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft fuel/pneumatic equipment.
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations.
• Maintain all shop calibrated tools.
• Ensure work aligns with approved data and inspection procedures.
• Read and interpret schematics/drawings.
• Follow safety, health and environmental policies.
• Record information and complete work per procedures.
• Perform tasks safely and timely.
• Additional duties as assigned.
