Job summary

Swissport International is seeking a Pipeline Operator to inspect, repair, and maintain fuel facilities, receive fuel from pipelines, and inspect hydrant systems in line with ATA 103 and Swissport policy. The role involves maintenance of tank farms, hydrant systems, and related equipment.

The position offers a pay rate of $26.50 per hour. Full-time employment includes health and wellness benefits, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation time, sick time and company-paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Good verbal and oral communication skills
• Must be able to pass the Tank Farm Operator math skills test, color blindness test
• Must have complete knowledge and understanding of the fuel facility and hydrant system

Responsibilities

• Inspect petroleum facilities and hydrant systems according to ATA 103 and quality controls
• Train new employees as directed by Supervisors
• Maintain fuel inventories and perform inspections to NFPA standards
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of fuel storage equipment
• Update records and inspection forms and complete paperwork as instructed by Supervisors
• Inspect equipment, report discrepancies, and perform fuel quality control per ASTM and ATA standards
• Assist with cleanup of spills and maintain a safe work area
• Follow Swissport policies and procedures at the station
