Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to pass Tank Farm Operator math test and color blindness test.
• Knowledge of the fuel facility and hydrant system.
• Able to climb stairs, work at elevations, and meet physical requirements.
• Willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Accept petroleum products into storage per ATA 103 and quality controls.
• Train new employees as directed by Supervisors.
• Ensure quality control of fuel and hydrant system integrity per ATA 103 criteria.
• Maintain Fuel inventories.
• Perform periodic and scheduled inspections per ATA 103 and NFPA standards.
• Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Assist with calibration of equipment.
• Work on loading racks and fuel storage equipment.
• Update records and inspection forms.
• Complete paperwork as instructed by Supervisors.
• Inspect equipment and document discrepancies.
• Perform quality control of fuel per ASTM and ATA standards.
• Assist with cleanup of fuel spills and maintain work area.

Job Summary

Pipeline Operator is responsible for the inspection, repairs, and maintenance of fuel facilities, receiving fuel from pipeline, and inspections of hydrant system in accordance with ATA 103 and Swissport policy and procedures as well as Swissport GPPM. Also responsible for the maintenance, repair and housekeeping on tank farms and hydrant system equipment.

The expected pay rate is $26.50/hour. Full‑time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Your activities

• Accept petroleum products into all storage facilities in accordance with ATA 103 established procedures and quality controls
• Train new employees as directed by Supervisors
• Ensure quality control of fuel and facility inspections and integrity of fuel hydrant system in accordance with ATA 103 criteria
• Maintain Fuel inventories
• Perform periodic and scheduled inspections in accordance with ATA 103 and NFPA standards
• Perform and assist mechanics for repairing and maintenance necessary to prevent functional breakdowns
• Assist with calibration of equipment
• Work on loading racks and fuel storage equipment
• Update records and inspection forms
• Complete paperwork as instructed by Supervisors
• Inspect equipment and document, report discrepancies
• Perform quality control of fuel in accordance with ASTM and ATA standards
• Assist with cleanup of fuel spills. Clean and maintain the work area
• Follow and adhere to all Swissport policies and procedures as well as those directed by the station

Your profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Good verbal and oral communication skills
• Must be able to pass the Tank Farm Operator math skills test, color blindness test
• Must have complete knowledge and understanding of the fuel facility and hydrant system
• Be able to climb stairs and work at elevations as well as perform physical requirements
• Be able to respond to and work in emergency conditions as required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Willing to work flexible working hours
