Job summary

Swissport International AG in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Fuel Facility Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of aviation fuel storage, transfer, and hydrant systems. The role includes inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, fuel quality testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with ATA 103, ASTM, NFPA, and site procedures.

The incumbent will handle fuel receiving and transfers, inventory control, and coordination of audits while maintaining accurate operational

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear verbal and written English communication required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate inspection/maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch petroleum products by tanker and transfer method.
• Monitor fuel receipts, verify documentation, quantity, and quality.
• Operate fuel-facility equipment for receiving, storage, transfer, filtration, and distribution.
• Perform fuel-quality control testing and inspections per ATA/ASTM standards.
• Maintain fuel inventory records and assist with daily reconciliation.
• Inspect storage tanks, hydrant systems, pumps, valves, and pipelines for safety and integrity.
• Document records and support audits and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to spills, alarms, and emergency conditions per procedures.
