Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring a Flight Nurse in Crescent City, CA, starting between $115,000 and $165,000 annually with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment with regular equipment and base checks and comply with safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners; ensure proper documentation and records.
