Job summary

San Bernardino International Airport Authority is seeking an entry-level FBO fueling attendant to support fueling operations and customer service on the ramp. You will learn fueling procedures, operate ground service equipment, and assist with safety and reporting duties under supervision.

The role involves handling aviation fuel, performing calculations, keeping logs, and coordinating with flight crews and passengers. Training will be provided to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and one (1) year of related experience in FBO fueling activities and ground support or related service.
• Knowledge of fueling procedures and basic safety rules.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety signs.
• Ability to perform accurate fueling calculations and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, transfers, and dispenses aviation fuel products.
• Operates ground service equipment and fuel tank trucks.
• Fuels aircraft per flight crew/flight plan requirements; may defuel under supervision.
• Maintains logs and records of fueling activities and equipment use.
• Interacts with aircraft personnel and passengers, providing basic customer service.
• Responds to fuel emergencies and follows environmental guidelines.
• Assists in inspections with regulatory agencies.
