Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking an Electrician to ensure the reliability and safety of our facility’s electrical infrastructure at the Houston airport area. You will inspect, service, and repair electrical systems and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires knowledge of electrical load calculations, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with a culturally diverse team. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman license required.
• Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport.
• Availability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and instruments.
• Calculate electrical load requirements and ensure proper installation of wiring and components.
• Accurately document work in the CMMS system.
• Follow all safety protocols and complete required training.
• Collaborate effectively in a diverse, multicultural team environment.
