Job summary

Aviation Ground Equipment Corp. (AGEC) is hiring an Electronics Technician to support ground service equipment and power systems used in aviation. You will test, assemble, and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies, perform AC/DC tests, and document issues in a cross-functional team environment.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electronics or equivalent, 2+ years of hands‑on electronics experience, and a track record with test equipment and load banks. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent training; equivalent work experience considered.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Electronics Technician.
• Experience working on electronic assemblies, not just components.
• Experience with analog and/or power conversion products preferred.
• AC/DC testing experience with high and low voltage.
• Ability to read test requirements and document issues clearly.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Soldering skills, color codes, and component identification.
• J – Standard certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in remedying malfunctions and determining corrective actions.
• Design, build, and test test equipment and load simulation systems.
• Perform production tests following established procedures.
• Interpret engineering parameters to perform functional tests of electromechanical units.
• Assemble subassemblies and install electrical components per blueprints or diagrams.
• Document test results and issues with accuracy.
