Job summary

GP Strategies Government Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Instructor to train personnel for a large aerospace client in Huntsville, AL.

The role is on-site with travel up to 15% and involves delivering instruction on soldered electrical assemblies, evaluating learning outcomes, and maintaining course materials. You will collaborate with management to tailor training, select appropriate teaching methods, and ensure alignment with DoD-style standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering instructional training.
• Electrical knowledge including wiring, terminals, through-hole tech and surface mount tech.
• J-STD-001 certification required.
• Must be flexible to support multiple shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Confers with management and clients to determine training needs.
• Designs instructional plans and delivers lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions.
• Selects training aids and resources to support learning.
• Delivers training sessions on technical topics to ensure understanding.
• Administers exams and evaluates trainee progress and program effectiveness.
• Maintains and updates training materials and programs.
• Travels to client sites as needed (up to 15%).
• May work across multiple shifts to meet customer needs.
